Find a Child Friendly Holiday

A holiday with children can mean a holiday for parents too!

Claiming a place is child friendly may be sufficient criteria for some people to make a booking; but it just isn’t enough for us. We will be honest with you – if there is only a high chair and travel cot at your chosen accommodation, but the best walks and friendliest hosts, we’ll tell you – then you can make up your own mind. If there is only a high chair and travel cot, and little else, you won’t find them on this site.

All of the people with listings here are aware that your children are a priority and that their happiness is your happiness - corny we know - but a happily occupied child during your precious family holiday can only be a good thing – you might even get to Page 10 of that book that you brought along!

In any case you will get the opportunity to spend time together doing what families do: running around a field with a ball; flying a kite; feeding the occasional hen; building sandcastles; splashing in puddles; getting soaked during the sudden rain storm - stuff that kills hours without even trying and which doesn’t cost a packet. Then you can get back to your place and not worry about the kids - they won’t be worrying about you!
