Family-owned the Evesham has gained a reputation for fantastic service, fantastic food and a fantastic welcome – for all of the family. Draycott Hotel, London

Lying between Chelsea and Knightsbridge the Draycott Hotel comprises 35 beautiful rooms and suites across 3 splendid houses in Cadogan Gardens. It really is a country-house retreat - except it has the added convenience of being around the corner from Harrods and the Kings Road and is within easy distance of galleries, museums and parks for the children. The delightful garden is a wonderful bonus – and something in short reserve in the city. You might all take your complimentary afternoon tea and biscuits there (or perhaps your complimentary pre-dinner champagne!) and simply enjoy the space and indulgence of having a safe place to relax in – or have a run around – in the heart of the City!

The Old Course Hotel, Fife

Whoops – the boy’s golfing holiday is in jeopardy. The Old Course Hotel has just introduced its fabulous Luxury Kids package and what with that and the extremely indulgent spa, fantastic views and of course the links the whole family can be entertained. It may be the plushest hotel but it offers the friendliest of welcomes. Don’t take my word for it – next time the suggestion of teeing off crops up just mention that the kids can have lessons too – whilst someone escapes to the spa for a couple of hours perhaps!
