Aleenta, a 5 star luxury boutique hideaway resort in Phang Na near Phuket in the south west of Thailand. Phuket is Thailand’s most popular holiday destination, just 1 hour and 20 minutes flight from Bangkok. The Aleenta is 15 minutes north of the airport, over the Sarasin bridge in Phang Na, which boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand and view points for stunning sunsets. It is in the culture of the Thai people to welcome children everywhere, and the Aleenta has designed some of the villas and suites to make them family friendly. There are organised children’s activities such as coconut bowling sand castle competitions and Frisbee. I would say the resort is most suited to families with children under 8. There is a babysitting service so you can have some special you time and enjoy a romantic cocktail at sunset followed by a candlelit dinner under the moonlight.

Harvest Moon Holidays, East Lothian
