This gives holiday makers easy access to all the wonderful attractions and restaurants Cornwall has to offer. The location is just perfect for families who like to spend their holidays building sandcastle, searching for hidden treasure in rock pools and the simple pleasure of sand between the toes.

Cove House is a two storey holiday home and can sleep of family of 9 in 4 bedrooms. Spacious comfortable and modern this beach house will serve you as a great place to chill out and enjoy one another's company.
Cove House has a generous open plan kitchen, living and dining area, perfect for relaxing evenings together. French doors lead to the enclosed garden and patio area. A beautifully and well equipped kitchen includes a microwave oven and dishwasher. The living area has comfy sofas and cute window seat with views of the valley. This holiday home includes plenty of entertainment in the form of a Playstation, an iPod docking station, satellite television and Freeview and Wifi broadband access. The house is centrally heated and has a double garage and parking for 2-3 cars.
The upstairs landing with French windows leads to a balcony and is perfectly placed to enjoy those fabulous views of Mawgan Porth. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a luxurious super king-size bed and en-suite shower room. There is a further double bedroom with super king-size bed, a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a children`s bedroom with single bunk beds plus an additional truckle bed. A separate family bathroom completes the picture.
Baby and Child Friendly Facilities
Holiday guests have the use of two travel cots, two high chairs, three stair gates, a changing mat and fireguard should you need them. The house benefits from a private enclosed landscaped garden with decking area of which you can enjoy the sea views from. Although chores such as washing clothes should be avoided on holiday, with little ones it seems nigh on impossible and conveniently the utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Plus there are books, games, DVD and puzzles to borrow.
Things for Families to do in Mawgan Porth and Beyond
At the end of the Tredragon Close there is a pathway leading to the beach and shops, just a 3 minute traffic free walk away. Mawgan Porth is a wide beach on the north coast of Cornwall, backed by high dunes. Due to its position as a recessed cove the beach is very family friendly, and allows dogs. At low tide, the beach reveals a huge expanse of sand which is perfect for sand castles, kite flying and beach games. Being on the north Cornish coast Mawgan Porth also provides great surfing. Close to the beach, you`ll find a shop cum deli selling all the essentials plus some luxuries, a pub and a restaurant. Otherwise, Mawgan Porth is characterised by it's off the beaten track character and relaxed feel.
Padstow is approximately 7 miles away. Watergate Bay is also only a few miles away where the well known Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant is situated right on the beach. All the great restaurants and attractions of Cornwall are within easy reach, and Mawgan Porth itself boasts great restaurants as well as the famous Bedruthan Steps Hotel, featuring the new Spa where mums and dads can take turns for a bit of well deserved pampering.
