Crieff Hydro has a fabulous choice of self-catering accommodation to choose from including lodges, cottages and chalets to cover a range of budgets. All however, have the marvelous benefit of the 40 indoor and outdoor activities offered at the Hydro; you will have the benefit of your private accommodation set either within the estate grounds or in Culcrieff village which is built on the original farm stead.
Situated above the Hotel in woodland, the 5-star luxury lodges offer some of the highest standard self catering accommodation in Scotland, all are within easy walking distance of the leisure facilities, bars and restaurants. Cottages are 4 star and are set in the estate grounds, some a little further from the hotel, all of them unique. The chalets (3 star) are set above the Hotel in woodland. They are perfect for a comfortable family break or time away with friends, when access to the resort's sports and entertainment is the priority.
As mentioned above during the day you can choose from over 40 activities from swimming in one of the two pools, one an adults only spa, using the spacious gym or teeing off at the hotel's 18 hole golf course. The onsite outdoor activity centre offers quad biking, off road driving, archery and even a 50 foot climbing wall and high and low ropes courses. You can also enjoy horse riding out and about on the estate, play a game of tennis, squash or badminton or join in with the daily entertainments program.
If pampering is more your style the Victorian Spa in conjunction with the Health Hair and Beauty teams can tailor a package to soothe, relax or invigorate.
Children staying at the Hydro, aged between 2-12 years, are entitled to two inclusive childcare sessions each day of their stay choosing between morning, afternoon or evening time slots. This gives parents the ideal opportunity to partake of the grown up facilities or just enjoy some quiet time. The BIG Country crèche offers supervised child-care for children under the age of 2 years and is available at an additional supplement.
There are four eateries on site. The formal, grown up dining option is covered by the Meikle Restaurant; the Brasserie provides for informal dining for all of the family to appreciate. The Winter Garden coffee shop is perfect for coffee and light meals whilst the Hub has light lunches and snacks and houses the bar.
