There are five fully furnished, beautifully painted, Mongolian yurts and a fabulous Lake House at Hidden Valley. Comfort and luxury is what glamping is about and a good night’s sleep is an essential element of glamping and up to four guests can be accommodated in each yurt. Yurts One, Two and Three have a super king-size bed for added luxury, whilst Yurts Four and Five enjoy king-size beds. There are single wooden futons or daybeds in all of the yurts, perfect for children. Bedding isn’t provided, so bring your own duvets or sleeping bags, as well as linen. The yurts are waterproof and thickly lined for cosy warmth on cooler days. A wood burning stove keeps you cosy too; once lit they can warm the tent within half an hour.
Solar powered fairy lights brighten up the space inside. There are two sockets where you can charge devices or plug in camping lamps should you wish to. On warmer nights, the yurt rain cap can be removed so you can stargaze from bed and sleep under the moon. Solar lights are installed outside too, on your own individual wooden deck, with outdoor furniture, a chimenea, a built-in brick barbecue and the wood store. Each yurt also has its own private bathroom with a bath or a relaxing rainfall shower, flushing toilet and hand basin. The Lake House is a private holiday home where you will find everything you expect from a modern house, including large comfortable beds, contemporary bathrooms, central heating, a well equipped kitchen and a spacious living and dining area with a log burner. There are two bedrooms which can be set up as king size doubles or twin rooms, each sleeping two guests. A stunning covered veranda runs the length of the house to a large decking where you can sunbathe, barbecue and enjoy stunning views over the lake and woods.
