Six luxurious five star self-catering cottages, sleeping from 2 to 7 people, are situated on 200 acres of farmland close to Pwllheli on the south coast of the Llyn Peninsula. You will find a warm Welsh welcome awaits you and your family, as the owners pride themselves on the high standards of luxury and of in-house cleanliness. The cottages are set in an immaculate courtyard, in the grounds of a working beef and sheep farm. Each cottage has its own secure garden.
The cottages are tastefully decorated and each are superbly equipped with TV, DVD, CD radio, wireless internet connection, microwave, washing machine, electric oven and fridge freezer. Water is drawn from Llwyndyrus Farm's own bore hole and there is a wood burning stove in all but one of the cottages. Most cottages have no carpets making them user friendly for people with allergies. Cots and highchairs can be pre-booked but guests must bring their own cot linen.
Children love to play farm and so the owners have created a figure 8 mini farm track on the green where the younger children can ride on the miniature tractors and trailers and entertain themselves for hours whilst Mum and Dad relax either on the patio or indulge themselves in the Spa. Visitors of all ages are sure to enjoy the country walks leading directly from the door, nearby stream and surrounding excellent cycling country - bring your own bikes as there are some great cycle routes not to be missed.
The Spa is a big plus for easing stress away from frazzled parents and comes in the form of a commission built log cabin which has a hot tub (filled with water sourced from own bore hole), for six persons at a time. It also boasts a Sauna, a treatment room and lounge chairs on the decking area for relaxation all with the added comfort of under floor heating, a wet room, changing rooms and a WC. Llwyndyrus Farm offers a range of pampering treatments including, classic facials, reflexology, aromatherapy massages, manicure and pedicures. Please book your treatments prior to your stay.
The farm is situated close to Pwllheli on the south coast of the Lleyn Peninsula, just eight miles from Abersoch and seventeen miles from Caernarfon, ideal for exploring the mountains of the Snowdonia. Nearby Pwllheli contains a wide variety of shops and cafes whilst those who prefer the great outdoors are sure to enjoy Glasfryn Parc where there are a wide range of fun activities including archery, fishing and go karting.
