Simple, contemporary with a scandi-feel, the Moor and Sea Holiday lodges are beautiful spaces to enjoy. The eight stone-built lodges are located on a large, nature-filled site with great views over Exmoor and beyond. Sleeping between four and eight guests, they’re designed with families in mind and are a perfect option for either large get-togethers, or to be enjoyed privately for a small family retreat. All eight lodges have simple open-plan living areas, thoughtfully and well-equipped kitchens and peaceful bedrooms with luxurious soft linen bedding to ensure you have a relaxing and reinvigorating stay. Where possible, environmentally-friendly and natural materials were used in the renovation, including natural insulation and the unique and chic cork wall coverings. Low energy appliances and eco-friendly cleaning products further Moor and Sea’s green credentials.
The largest lodges are Whitebeam and Fern, each sleeping up to eight guests. Both lodges have two double bedrooms and a twin, with the two extra guests sleeping on a comfy double sofa bed, with an optional mattress topper, in the calm living space. There are two bathrooms, including a walk-in shower room finished with natural slate flooring and lots of plants. Both have washer/dryers available. There are six remaining lodges sleeping up to four guests, accommodated in a double bedroom and on one of those comfy double sofa beds. There are family bathrooms with either a shower or bath with shower over. A communal utility room is also available for guests' use, with two washing machines, two driers, airers, irons and ironing boards. Detergent and softener are provided so there is no need to bring your own. It’s also home to a well-stocked lending library with books for all ages, indoor games and puzzles and a good selection of outdoor games to use in the fields.
