Located just ½ mile from the village of Boncath you will be surrounded by stunning views over the North Pembrokeshire countryside. Fron Fawr is only 5 miles from the Pembrokeshire coast with some of the most wonderful beaches and coastline in the country so don’t forget to pack your buckets and spades! On site is an outdoor Hot tub and children’s play area. Guests are welcome to use the leisure facilities at Clydey (5 miles away) which includes a fantastic indoor swimming pool.

We are delighted to welcome these beautiful child-friendly cottages to Away with the Kids. The road to Coed Mawr Hall is beautiful in itself – rolling big dipper hills, that my girls love, overlook the estuary to the left (if you’re coming to it from Conwy) with atmospheric hills to your right. At the bottom of a deep hill is a lovely pub at which you turn right and drive to a fabulous house that you will have already spotted (when you were rolling up and down the hills) – that’s Coed Mawr Hall and Cottages. I’ve often driven along and wondered about this place – and now we are listing it on our site – isn’t that fab?

Each tipi can sleep a family of 6 and is decked out with comfortable futons topped with traditional welsh blankets, throws and sheepskins. Sumptuous duvets and crisp cotton bedding can be provided for a small extra charge together with breakfast hampers and vegetarian ‘one pot’ evening meals. A travel cot and high chair can also be supplied. The Cosy Under Canvas tipis are situated in four acres of beautiful woodland and water meadow in the heart of the Welsh/English borders countryside.

The Trefeddian is a family run Hotel, situated on the mid Wales coast, near the picturesque village of Aberdovey, overlooking Cardigan Bay. Four miles of golden sandy beach are a short walk from the Hotel. Children’s early super is available and there is a baby listening service in the evening. Self-catering apartments are also available, that have limited access to the facilities of the hotel, which can sleep a family of up to 8. There are many local attractions including a narrow guage steam railway and crabbing off the village jetty - great fun for all the family.
