Salhouse Broad Camping Corner is tucked away in a stunning and extensive park within the Norfolk Broads. The simple, back-to-basics campsite offers families a unique experience – one away from the stresses and pressures of modern life, where you can sleep under the stars, explore the waterways by boat and cook feasts over a campfire. There are two pitch sizes, a standard and large to suit whatever size tent you have. Prices for each cover accommodation for four guests, but larger families and groups can pay for additional guests per pitch, per night. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge.
The campsite is open from April until the end of September, with a minimum two night stay only applicable during the August bank holiday. Campers have use of a block of chemical toilets, or can use the public toilets located in the car park. A standing pipe in the camping field provides drinking water, but there is no hot water or showers. This is really a place for an adventure, think wild camping but with a few necessary extras. And in a truly beautiful location.
