The Place is ideally located in the city centre of Manchester adjacent to Piccadilly Train station. It was originally converted from a derelict cotton mill and developed into individual flats with exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings as features throughout. Until recently the owners decided to launch The Place as Manchester's first Apartment Hotel. Hence The Place is not like any conventional hotel with cramped bedrooms, noisy neighbours and no space to swing a cat. You cannot get a true picture of the space until you actually walk into the apartment and you will be struck by the wow factor.

At the Place Hotel Manchester you can be as self-sufficient or as completely dependant as you wish to be, giving you the freedom and flexibility to truly tailor-make your own experience. The Family Apartments offer a substantial amount of extra space to relax in. They have a stunning view of the Atrium from the relaxing lounge area and a large galley kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. Each apartment boasts two private bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, with a shared dining & lounge area, all with original Grade II listed features. The one bedroom apartment provides a choice of either two double beds or three single beds and the second bedroom offers one double bed. All apartments have Sky TV, DVD & CD player and Wireless & fixed broadband.

For children that love splashing about in a pool the superb Manchester Aquatics Centre can be found by just a quick hop on a bus and was purpose built for the XVll Commonwealth Games held in Manchester in 2002. The Imperial War museum and the Lowry Shopping Outlet can be visited by catching a 15 minute Tram ride.
