Being up for yet another Green Award provides further recognition of the sustainable, yet high quality holiday experience Mazzard Farm offers in East Devon. Where many tourism businesses have taken some steps towards sustainability, the Mazzard Farm experience takes Green Tourism to a completely new level. Yet, without compromising on luxury, or in any way restricting holiday makers of having a great time. Just some examples of what makes Mazzard Farm a Green tourism business include heating and hot water generated by biomass, optimal insulation and energy efficiency of the cottages, a strong emphasis on enjoying and supporting the local area around the farm, and extensive communication with guests as to how they can experience a holiday without leaving a negative environmental foot print.
