The New build play barn and guest sun lounge opened 4th March, well in time for the Easter holidays. As with the swimming pool the play barn has been constructed in the style of the existing farm buildings. The new play barn is an excellent facility for all the family. A spacious play area for the under 5's, table tennis, free play Pool and table football for older family members, and a comfortable sun lounge area for Mum and Dad to relax. Bi-fold doors open onto the grassed outdoor play area with swing's and slide, football pitch, cricket, outdoor play equipment, mini putting green. The play barn has a family toilet with adult and child's toilet, baby changing unit and separate disabled toilet.
The old games room will be refurbished and used as a large group dining room catering for 40 guests that wish to dine together.
The latest property to Lower Wood Farm is Cape Cottage - a new build luxury 5* Gold Award holiday cottage which has been designed to be fully accessible and can sleep a family of 5 + 1 plus cot. This self catering cottage is mobility M2 Grade and cleverly incorporates and blends in the requirements of both the able and the less able visitor.
