Stunning Staffordshire Woodland
A 3/4 mile winding forest path takes you through the splendid forest of Trentham Estate woodlands where the monkeys live. The monkeys roam freely meaning you may even see one of them walk across the path in front of you!
Information in the forest
Information boards, video documentaries and pure observation will give you a fascinating insite into these amazing primates. Guides are situated along the path to explain the monkey's behaviour happening before your eyes. Why is this baby being carried by a male? What are the monkeys picking up from the ground? Where do they spend the winter? The guides have all the answers!
Monkey Forest's Banana Cafe serves a selection of baguettes, soups, jacket potatoes, chips and daily specials. Relax on the terrace and enjoy a relaxing coffee whilst basking in the sun.
The jungle shop is a 'monkey lovers' delight! Shelf upon shelf of monkey memorabilia. Do not forget to have a look at our mascot Barbary macaques - It is the only place you will be able to get one from in the UK!
