The Quiet Site, Cumbria

The Quiet Site is a family run site situated in a secluded position amongst the stunning fells that overlook Lake Ullswater. Nestling into a hillside this well maintained 6 acre site is a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. With a huge family focus it has an excellent children’s adventure play area and an on site olde-worlde pub. Not great at putting up a tent but fancy the idea of camping? The quiet site offers wooden pods for hire that can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children. Site open all year round.

Readyfields - a Feather Down farm, Nottinghamshire

Readyfields is a charming working farm situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Caunton in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside. It is run by the lovely Lesley and David and their three young daughters whose family have lived and worked on the farm for generations. Of all the numerous varieties of animals that you will meet dotted about the farm, the stars of the show are undoubtedly the very friendly, Boddy bloodhounds. Slap bang in the middle of England, Readyfields is an easy spot to reach, a farm with something for everyone, for that perfect glamping break Away with the Kids!
