The Old Course Hotel, Fife

Whoops – the boy’s golfing holiday is in jeopardy. The Old Course Hotel has just introduced its fabulous Luxury Kids package and what with that and the extremely indulgent spa, fantastic views and of course the links the whole family can be entertained. It may be the plushest hotel but it offers the friendliest of welcomes. Don’t take my word for it – next time the suggestion of teeing off crops up just mention that the kids can have lessons too – whilst someone escapes to the spa for a couple of hours perhaps!

Isles of Glencoe Hotel & Leisure Centre, Highlands

The Isles of Glencoe Hotel is a relaxed, family-oriented hotel ideally located for exploring the Scottish Highlands, Glencoe and Fort William. The spectacular setting of this hotel, nestling on the side of the peninsula reaching out into Loch Leven really is something special and the distinctive Pap of Glencoe is visible from the hotel. The beautiful location is tranquil and peaceful, but the hotel still offers the kids loads of high-octane outdoor pursuits and a lovely swimming pool and leisure centre within the hotel.

One could also add that the Cary Arms is a genuinely family friendly hotel, as well as dog friendly. However, it’s the relaxed friendliness of the staff, along with the stunning location and gorgeous interiors that will convince you that you have landed somewhere special. Then there's the food ... fantastic!
