A fabulous outdoor adventure playground, croquet lawn, trampoline and space galore to run around in is free for all. The Spa at The Elms is a very welcome retreat for parents, offering a range of relaxing treatments, while the children can be entertained in the said crèche above!

Brooklands is a luxury hotel next to the historic Brooklands racing track in Surrey and is themed throughout with the "racing" memorabilia and subtle artworks on show. This is a very exciting destination hotel for children and grown-ups alike as you can see the racing cars zooming round the track next door and it immediately sets the scene for a fun filled family break. If you can spare the time, the Spa here is one of best around.

Moonfleet Manor is to be found through two old weathered columns at the end of a long, long lane. Hidden away, it is blessed with a wondrous view overlooking Lyme Bay and the world’s longest stretch of shingle beach – Chesil Beach. We found it on a warm, sunny Spring day, buzzing with people and atmosphere. As with all of the Luxury Family Hotels a line of wellies, in all colours and sizes, greet you at the door before the smiley staff (who looked happy to be working!) and the very friendly live-in dog Spicer (who has since gone I’m sad to say) that greeted the girls with a fantastic tail wagging display that delighted them.
