Blanches boasts unrivalled sea views and its position at the head of a beautiful, almost private valley is second to none. The Holiday Home and Cottage
Blanches Windsor is a fantastic and unique self catering holiday property providing spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to nine people. The accommodation consists of a spacious, fully equipped kitchen merging into a dining area with a 'banquet size' table. There is a great wood burner in the beamed and expansive drawing room and another in the galleried hallway. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, a king, double and 2 twins. Three of which enjoy beautiful views down the garden and valley to the sea. There is a large shower room with WC. Downstairs, there is a small twin bedroom. This room is suitable for an elderly or disabled person who cannot manage the stairs - next to this bedroom is a large bathroom. There is an additional WC downstairs. The house is centrally heated and has wireless broadband.
For large groups, a further five people can be accommodated next door in Blanches Meadow, the original character cottage.
Blanches Meadow can sleep a family of 5, with a kitchen, beamed sitting room with an open fire, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Downstairs the accommodation consists of a 24' drawing room with a piano, a large log fire and a traditional bread oven. There is also a cottage-style kitchen and a single bedroom. There are a further two double bedrooms upstairs. You can sit in bed or relax in the bath and gaze down the beautiful valley to the sea and watch the ships going up and down the channel. The house is centrally heated and there is wireless broadband.
Blanches Windsor and Meadow, share the 2.5 acres of gardens. They have their own entrances and their own sitting out areas overlooking the valley and sea, several terraced lawns and lots of secret gardens to explore.

Cots, toys and a wide range of equipment for babies and small children are thoughtfully provided, including play pens and the little things that make life easier like baby monitors and microwave sterlisers.

Coast/Beach and Surrounding Area
From the garden you can walk down a beautiful valley to the South-West coastal path and its spectacular beaches. Lansallos Bay, a 20 minute walk down a smugglers' track, is a beautiful enclosed bay with good swimming and a waterfall. The beach is dog friendly. Children love Lantivit Bay with its big rocks to run around, little stream to play in and rock pools to explore. The beautiful historic fishing village of Polperro and the attractive vibrant port of Fowey are a short drive away. The Bodinnick to Fowey Car Ferry is a unique experience and provides easy access between mid and East Cornwall. It is handy when exploring the lanes and beaches to the West of the Fowey River. Most of the coastline between Fowey and Polperro is owned and protected by the National Trust.
