Terrific for small family break or for big family reunion. The same comfortable stylish feel applies to all six child friendly properties around the splendid Cotswold Georgian Manor – Upper Court.
All benefit from the lake, grounds with children’s play area and lovely gardens. In the summer you’ll wake to bird song and the early morning activities of the swans, geese and ducks (who love being fed!) on the lake. You will see foxes trotting along the hedgerows at dawn and catch the deer grazing in the dusk on the hill. Plenty of farm animals nearby.
The 13th century Dovecote overlooks the lake, has a lovely four poster bed and an ideal romantic nest for 2 (plus child). The Stables sleeps 4/5, Courtyard 6/8, Coach House where carriages were once kept will sleep 10/11, can seat 24, can all be interconnected for an extended party. Watermill overlooks the lake, sleeps 10, is an early 18th century gem.
The main activities that make us stand apart from so many other similar holiday cottages are our art and pottery classes which are especially suitable for both little ones, and older ones doing art portfolio for exams. The heated outdoor pool opens May to September, tennis, croquet, massage, amazing Chef available. Hill walking, clay-pigeon shooting, golf and riding nearby and ALL in the heart of the Cotswolds!
For the little ones we have baby tricycles and Kemerton is a lovely village for walking with the children. Excellent babysitters, cots, high chairs, stairgates and bed guards.
We ask that little ones are always with an adult when near the water, pool and when playing on the swings and slides.
