Family Glamping - Domaine de la Bastide, France
Family Camping at Domaine de la Bastide, Samzon (Ardeche)
Domaine de la Bastide enjoys a peerless location on the banks of the Ardeche, with woods all around you and a private river beach along one edge of the parc; so many campers take advantage of the opportunity to canoe from here, especially as the stunning Pont d'Arc is within easy reach. There's hours of fun for all the family in summertime, spent by the sandy beach on the banks of the Ardèche - the shallow water is a pleasant and safe place for children to enjoy themselves.
There are plenty of activities on site however, including two swimming pools, tennis court, restaurant, bar and children's play area. The parc also nestles against the lovely 17th century Chateau de Sampzon, making this an attractive as well as an atmospheric place to stay. Should you wish to stray further afield however, the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc is close by, as is the Rock of Sampzon, which offers spectacular views of the entire region.
