Many of the cottages overlook the central gardens, which provide a relaxing area to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
The Accommodation
These rural style cottages have been created to be as light and airy as possible, many with large glazed sections allowing light into the living area. With featured exposed beams and brickwork, open plan living areas and tasteful décor throughout, you can rest assured the cottages will surpass expectations. The single-storey one or two bedroom holiday cottages, and two or three bedroom two storey holiday homes can sleep families from 2 - 5 plus cot. The fitted kitchens are complete with dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. Heating is provided by radiators in all rooms and bed linen (duvets) is included within the cost of your stay. Shared laundry facilities are available with washing machines, tumble dryer and ironing equipment. To complete your entertainment all cottages have a television and DVD player provided.
Child Friendly Facilities
In front of the cottages there is a spacious lawned garden in which you can enjoy a barbeque and where the newly created play area will keep even the most active children amused for hours. And for when the weather is not so kind there is a shared games room with pool table and board games.

Filey Holiday Cottages are ideally located if you want to create a base to tour this beautiful part of Yorkshire. With Filey Brigg and Filey Bay close at hand, Whitby and Scarborough in the north, close to Flamborough, Primrose Valley and Bridlington to the south, and close to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and Flamingo Land. All with countryside views unique to this part of Yorkshire.
Filey is a traditional Victorian English seaside town with a friendly atmosphere. The five-mile stretch of award winning sandy beach is protected by the rocky grandeur of Filey Brigg, Surfing, fishing, yachting, golf, walking and bird watching are just a few of the activities, which are here to be enjoyed. The Evron Centre provides plentiful entertainment with music, song, dance and theatre on offer. Afterwards you can visit one of the many restaurants or local hostelries and enjoy the superb cuisine.

I think the cottage is lovely and the play park is great fun for the kids. The beds are lovely and comfy, York Maze is fantastic the train at Pickering is well worth a trip and Rock Pooling at Robin Hoods Bay.
