An old World War 2 Airfield on the edge of the New Forest, Holmsley is the perfect base for a family holiday. Ponies are often to be found grazing on the roads leading to the site. There is a shop on the site selling a range of groceries, camping essentials and children's toys and games. There is also an excellent onsite fast food service which is well-used in high season. Please note that we do not serve alcohol. The nearby village of Burley has a range of tearooms and a couple of pubs. Premium pitches are available on this site and there are toilets, showers and a launderette. Holmsley is close to several beaches, the closest of which is Barton on Sea. Bournemouth is a twenty-five minute drive away and Poole approximately forty minutes.
