Set on a small farm and very near to sandy beaches these four cottages can accommodate guests from 2 to 6 plus cot, with facilities also for wheelchair users. Your hosts Tim and Valerie are more qualified than most to understand the needs of providing the basis for a good family holiday, as they have four children of their own. The cottages are very child friendly and everything from cots to three wheeler pushchairs can be supplied.
The cottages are stylish, homely and unique with large open plan living areas and exposed wooden beamed rafters featured throughout. Decorated to a high standard, with comfy sofas, generous beds and powerful showers these cottages create a welcoming environment where parents can relax and unwind. Baby monitors, food blenders and child crockery are there to make your holiday stay plain sailing. All cottages have enclosed child friendly gardens that are safely fenced with a lawn and patio. Take advantage while the little ones are playing happily on the ride-on toys or mini trampolines to fire up the barbeque for al-fresco dining. Free Wi-Fi access in all cottages, oil-fired central heating throughout and the barns are all double-glazed.
Delicious Aga-cooked meals from local and home-grown produce by courtesy of Valerie's culinary talents are just another thoughtful service provided so that parents can enjoy a well deserved break. A Giant Trampoline can be found adjacent to the tennis courts - both with fantastic views. And not forgetting the animals. Children of all ages can get involved in the daily animal feeding and egg collecting. The two rescue donkeys love attention and are very placid and friendly. There are also the resident sheep, ducks, buzzards and of course plenty of wildlife to discover in the 22 acres of farmland. There is even a seasonal pick your own veggie patch to help yourself.
Quiet sandy beaches and coves are close by, perfect for children and offering that nostalgic trip back to the beach holiday we all remember. If you enjoy walking, the coast path is only minutes from the door. The sheltered waters are ideal for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and hire and tuition are available nearby. There is even a squash court in Portscatho and fishing and golf can be arranged nearby.
