Not only are the cottages exquisitely decorated and impeccably furnished, they also come with tons of child-friendly paraphernalia to make your life easier, down to the cutlery and crocks! Set within a private valley the grounds are not only beautifully landscaped - they contain lots of outdoor play equipment and room for the kids to roam; there’s an indoor pool or a spring fed river to get wet in, a wildlife lake (fenced) and a Victorian walled secret garden with fruit trees and shallow stream – perfect for grown up wind down time! Conveniently a footpath leads through the grounds to the local village and on to the shores of estuary …

Mayrose Farm Cottages, Cornwall

Mayrose is a soothing place. The colours are muted and warm, the atmosphere is extremely chilled out and the area so very picturesque. The cottages in which you will stay are just lovely – beautifully and very tastefully decorated and designed by Jane and David they are bright, airy and interesting – a bit like your hosts! There is space to play in the fields, space to bbq by the pond, a heated pool in which to swim and a games room to read or partake of a snakes and ladder challenge. There are family pets, who just happen to be farm animals, for the kids to enjoy meeting too.
