Rooke Farm,Chapel Amble, Wadebridge, Cornwall

Fantastic 5 star self-catering cottages; friendly, helpful owners; a rural location close to lots of superb days out - a fab getaway for families of all ages.
Rooke Cottages in North Cornwall form part of a private farm on the Duchy of Cornwall estate which comprise seven 5* cottages, the largest sleeping a family of 8. The gorgeous holiday cottages have been thoughtfully restored and beautifully furnished; there is no compromise here on either comfort or taste.
The Holiday Cottages
Step inside and you will take in the relaxed, friendly atmosphere and flop. Rooke Cottages are a lovely home from home where you will unwind and have time to enjoy each other's company. The farm buildings have been beautifully restored to the very highest standards and feature exposed brick walls with inglenook fireplace, log burning stoves, vaulted beam ceilings complemented by quality fixtures and fittings. The very tasteful decor is modern, cosy and relaxing with luxury touches such as Egyptian cotton bed linen and a midweek maid service - a particularly thoughtful touch that you will really appreciate.
Facilities for Children
There is a children's play area set away from the cottages with wooden play equipment, sand pit, space to run and resident guinea pigs. There is also a TV channel linked to a CCTV camera at the farm focused on a barn owl roost! A fantastic idea for getting the kids interested in the wild life surrounding them. Cots and high chairs are available for the little ones and a baby-sitting service can be provided.
Holiday Extras
Gill and Rob have thoughtfully provided a Guest Service Area. This is a large wet room and drying room for cleaning surf boards, wet suits, and wet children! Plus you will find a ready stash of all the bulky items that you may need on your holiday, such as cool boxes, windbreaks, surf boards and a selection wellie boots. We think this is an excellent idea. You can even spend the last day's of your holiday on a sandy beach and come back to Rooke Cottages to use the guest service area to shower and freshen up before your journey home.
