Skiddaw Grove is highly recommended by my two small boys of 5 and 3 - the room was big, clean and comfortable, with a big balcony outside, the heated outdoor pool was lovely and the table tennis table outside provided plenty of fun. The property has stunning views over the mountains, and is handily located both for travelling around the Lake District and for the amenities in Keswick.
The owners have children too, so nothing was too much trouble - breakfast was tailored to the boys' exacting standards - and proof was in the eating, their plates were spotless!! This is a wonderful place to stay, both with or without children.
