This luxury self catering cottage can be found in a quiet and secluded Norfolk village, just a few minutes walk to an award winning Blue Flag beach and spectacular coastal walks - it's a perfect hidden retreat.
Accommodation
The cottage is tucked away, opposite a windmill, at the end of a pine tree-lined private lane. Surrounded on all sides by the lovely, landscaped gardens the house provides a safe and secure space for your children to explore. But even better, (from my point of view!) there is a luxurious hot tub, set within a covered canopy, which is automatically heated to a perfect 38 degrees 24 hours a day - bliss!
Your holiday will get off to a fabulous start given that the owners thoughtfully provide a gourmet 'welcome pack' on your arrival, including complimentary wine, local produce for a tasty cooked breakfast plus scrummy home made bread and cakes. Then you get to explore your accommodation ...
The entrance conservatory has under-floor heating complete with a full size pool table to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather. The lounge provides for chill out time and evening entertainment with a Blu-ray DVD and 42 inch Plasma TV with full HD+Sky package. A computer with free broadband is available for your use and should you need it the cottage and gardens are Wifi enabled.
The luxury equipped kitchen diner adjoins the lounge diner and provides the perfect space to socialise and all the gadgets you might need to rustle up a sumptuous feast or two.
The sleeping accommodation comprises of 3/4 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a 6-foot bed with a luxury pocket sprung mattress, a 23" LCD TV with Sky and DVD player and a luxury en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds room, the third a double. The Den room/bedroom four boasts a 26" LCD TV with Sky, a DVD player and Sony Playstation3 and a double bed settee. The perfect retreat for the kids (or adults) this dual purpose room can be used as a lounge or bedroom depending on the size of your party. All three bedrooms have hair dryers and individual luxury stereo systems, which are iPod and MP3 enabled for those impromptu family discos.
The spectacular family bath and shower room boasts an LCD TV embedded in the wall above the bath! This indulgence will surely please the smallest members of the family and will certainly help reduce the reluctance to have a bath and hairwash! All bathrooms have very snuggly bathrobes and towels, complimentary slippers and boast under floor heating.
The south-facing garden is equipped with patio furniture and a gas BBQ as well as automatic designer lighting for evening 'al fresco' dining and entertaining.
To Do
There is so much to do on the area - visit the seals at Blakeney, the North Norfolk Steam Railway which through the lovely coastal and countryside scenery through Weybourne to Holt. Just through Weybourne is The Muckleborough Collection, which is the UK's largest Privately Owned Working Military Museum - Alfie nearly jumped out of the car when he spotted a tank!
Just a mile away is the National Trust's Felbrigg Hall with its lovely house, orangery and lakeside walk and a bit further Roman Camp (West Runton) and Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall - perfect inexpensive days out. Then of course there's the gorgeous coast with expansive sandy beaches at Cromer and Sheringham and pine woods buffering the huge beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the Sea, with fantastic sand dunes too!
