If you're looking for the convenience of B & B the Eiders is perfect - friendly, spacious and welcoming.
The 5 star Eiders is very good. Set back
from the road (it’s easy to find!) the place feels secluded yet it’s
conveniently close enough to the lovely beaches, salt marshes and towns of
North Norfolk. The grounds
are lovely – there’s plenty of space for the kids to run around the large,
enclosed garden, complete with trampoline and outdoor toys, the outdoor heated
pool provides a suntrap between May and September and the rooms are simply
immaculate.
It’s a good mix – the convenience of
getting your breakfast cooked but with ready access to your room, the key is
handed over when you check in and meet your friendly host. Rooms have tea and coffee making
facilities, fridges - always a bonus, radio, bottled water, wine glasses and
cork-screw, torches – it is along a road and there is a pub within walking
distance, tv and your own heating controls.
Breakfast is served between 7:30 – 9:30 and
is sourced locally where possible.
The choice is excellent with anything from continental to full English
with muffins, cereals and smoked salmon or haddock to keep your taste buds
going.
All of the rooms
are en-suite and as previously stated, all are immaculate with have enough room to
fit you all in comfortably. There are 2 family rooms, one holding a full size single bed with room for a cot, the other with 2 single beds. Twin and double bedrooms are available. Some have balconies overlooking the safely fenced duck pond, with resident, very attractive ducks that will keep you all amused for a good while – certainly through breakfast which could mean you get to eat a little more leisurely whilst the kids feed their new friends.
On arrival you will be greeted with cake and hot or
cold drinks to help wind down and relax – then you can decide where to visit –
there is a comprehensive selection of tourist info for you to plan your
itinerary.

to see the seals, Holt for a spot of shopping, then there are steam trains, walks, country
houses and many beautiful beaches to choose from - successful family holiday material!
