A family friendly boutique hotel in a stunning coastal location with outstanding food and welcoming service to boot!

As soon as we walked across the threshold at Titchwell Manor we couldn't help but smile to ourselves. It is a smile of contented glee when we know we have discovered another mighty fine gem to add to our collection of stunning child friendly hotels. Traversing over the gorgeous, period tiled hallway the Manor oozed an aura of relaxed refined elegance and a friendliness that made you feel quite at home. We flopped in huge comfy sofas in front of a roaring fire to take five while the kids quickly spotted a book and a teddy bear that stood guard over the guest comment book. After reading them one of their all time favorites - Alfie's Feet by Shirley Hughes - we quickly scoured the guest book to note it was littered with glowing comments from guests who, after discovering Titchwell Manor, promise to return in the not too distant future.

What is perfect about Titchwell Manor is that for parents, just because it is warmly welcoming of children there is absolutely no compromise on style and quality. The tasteful and stunning images found dotted around the interior of this hotel are testament to its family friendly ethos. And also serves as a reminder as to its fantastic location, amazing scenery and coastline that Titchwell Manor is positioned alongside.

Titchwell Manor Hotel, dating from 1896, is located near Brancaster, found just off the coastal road from Hunstanton to Cromer. This stunning coastal boutique hotel is located in the wild and unspoilt beauty of the North Norfolk coast. The beach is within view from the front of the hotel and can be reached by a traffic free path that will take you about a 20 minute walk. Titchwell Manor sits on the edge of a RSPB nature reserve - Titchwell Marsh, a haven for wildlife.

Contemporary style runs throughout the 27 individually designed bedrooms which you will find pleasantly luxurious and certainly with the wow factor. The use of natural materials compliments the soft furnishings and creates a relaxed and comfortable ambience. Several of the bedrooms in the main hotel take advantage of the magnificent sea views, while 13 new bedrooms have recently been completed around a beautifully courtyard herb garden toward the rear of the main house. Two of these garden rooms are fitted for disabled guests and some rooms are dog friendly with excellent walks nearby.

Titchwell Manor is renowned for its superb cuisine where your taste buds will be in for a real treat. Parents can feed the children at an earlier time slot in the bright and airy bar with a variety of tasty options to suit younger guests. Mums and Dads can then take the opportunity to relax and enjoy a bit of adult time with the use of the baby listening service via reception or if you are happier with a baby monitor then these work throughout the hotel. Dinner in the candle-lit Conservatory is a grown-up affair where you can indulge your taste buds in the AA rosette awarded restaurant with a variety of dishes to tempt the palate. Head chef Eric Snaith uses the very best local and seasonal produce to provide modern takes on traditional dishes, executed with individual thought and style. After supper, relax with a quiet nightcap on a huge leather sofa near the roaring fire, or in warmer weather head to the garden or the terrace with a jug of Pimms.

Norfolk's beautiful beaches are a short walk away should you wish to build up your appetite and go seal spotting. An abundance of local attractions such as Holkham Hall and Sandringham offer much to explore. Cycle Hire is available to from Bircham Windmill. They are able to provide a wide range of bikes for all the family including small bikes and tricycles for the children with maps of different cycle routes also available.
