With an exciting blend of stunning coastal scenery, seaside fun, rural tranquility and site owners that obviously take the utmost care and pride in providing you a holiday to remember - it's not hard to see why Warcombe Farm customers return year after year.
Warcombe Farm Campsite is nestled between the villages of Mortehoe, Lee and Woolacombe, and is close to the town of Ilfracombe. With outstanding panoramic sea views it is a perfect site for families looking to be caravanning and camping in North Devon. The nearby beautiful coastal paths and Exmoor National Park are full of natural treasures, and local villages offer an inviting welcome to all.
With pitches clearly marked, some separated by fences or shrubbery, it encourages campers to get the most out of their own space and privacy. You will be at at least 6m away from other campers which is good to know when camping with kids, so that you're not constantly on edge trying to keep them talking in hushed tones for fear of upsetting your neighbour. The camp site itself is an area of 19 acres with an adjoining field of 14.5 acres. The owners have extensively planted trees and have areas where grass and wild flowers are left untouched and are allowed to flourish. This attracts a huge diversity of wildlife that you may spot during your stay at Warcombe Farm. And of course there is plenty of land for children to explore and to run freely.

Things to do and Places to visit in Devon
Warcombe Farm Camping and Caravan Park has its own fishing lake, open only to guests. It is well-stocked with Carp, Tench, Rudd & Roach. The fishing lake is a great asset to the park, even if you are not a fisherman. It is so relaxing to sit at the side of the water and watch the nearby wildlife. In the summer there are mayflies and dragon flies including the Emperor Dragonfly together with newts, frogs, toads and lots of other water insects. Warcombe Farm has their own General Fishing Licence, which covers usage for campers - a personal fishing licence is not required, you only need to buy a day ticket from them. If you do not have your own fishing rod, there is also equipment available to hire from the on-site shop.
The campsite is ideally situated to explore many attractions that the North Devon area has to offer. More than two miles of sandy beach are to be enjoyed at Woolacombe Bay Sands - perfect for building sand castles, treasure hunting in rook pools, flying kites and walks. Here you can spot surfers riding the breakers of the Atlantic Ocean. Watched over by lifeguards, bathing and swimming is safe between the flags. Avoid swimming at low tide and near the few rocks toward the north of Woolacombe beach. All that you can need in refreshment is available at the Beachcomber café at the north end of the beach.
