Things to Do
The area is great for walking and a full set of Ordnance Survey maps are available so that you can make the very best use of the network of public rights of way; the 3-wheel Mountain Buggy might just come into it's own! Being in a fantastic position near the Devon/Somerset border means you have easy access to perfect beaches, such as Beer and Branscombe and the West Country's family attractions.
As far as pets go there is a livery yard ¾ mile away giving you an option to take your horse along with you. If you are reluctant to leave your dog at home, Westown Holiday Camp is for dogs; your dog lives as family on this lovely farm situated in the heart of the Culm Valley around 2½ miles from the cottage. No kennels, just acres of green fields, a river that all the dogs love to swim in and lots of wonderful smells!
So what was the reason for not going?
