The Blewett family impeccably runs Wooldown Holiday Cottages with a passion. That's Sue, Roger and the help of their four strapping boys. Up until 2006 Wooldown was a working dairy farm. Now the fields are let out to a local farmer who has sheep, and often lambs can be seen in the fields right beside all 4 family properties. There has been a lot of investment into Wooldown in the last few years and its plain to see from previous guests comments that your hosts strive to ensure their guests enjoy that well deserved family break and that Wooldown exceeds in all expectations. "We know how important your holiday is, we go on holiday too (occasionally!), and we all worry about what to expect, that's why we work hard to make sure our property won't let you down." Holiday Extras
It is nice to know that while on holiday you have the chance to take off chef's hat. Local chef, Nicky Vereker can provide a range of tasty dishes, delivered to your door, during your stay. With dishes such as " Pork Normande" and "Roast vegetable lasagne" you can understand why this is a popular service and ideal for arrival night.
You can also order your groceries online and have them delivered when you arrive to save on that mad dash to the local shops.
Holidays are the perfect time to relax and forget your worries, so why not treat yourself to a bit of well-deserved pampering by engaging the services of a visiting beauty therapist. Choose from a wide list of holistic treatments, which can be carried out in the comfort and privacy of your holiday cottage or in the therapist's own treatment room, just 5 minutes walk away.
