The Holiday Cottages

The charming child friendly cottages are grouped around the lawns, and can sleep a family of 3 up to a large family of 8 plus room for 2 cots. Each cottage has its own charm and character, some have featured stone walls and exposed wooden beams and all are beautifully furnished throughout with homely comforts and mod cons. With 8 cottages of all different sizes including one adapted for wheelchair users extended families are welcome to holiday together or groups of friends. Booking all 8 cottages together means you can holiday with 40 of your friends or family and you have exclusive use of the facilities including the Party Barn with heating, seating and loads of space. Catering can even be arranged so all you need to do is sit back and relax with no washing up. Alternatively you can enjoy a barbecue right next to your cottage and enjoy the wonderful surrounding countryside - the coals are supplied free too! Every cottage has its own picnic table and there is a large central barbecue area so that you can be sociable with other guests.
Child Friendly Facilities and the Play Barn
We all know that if children are happy and occupied, the parents feel relaxed and able to enjoy their surroundings. At Wringworthy the safe grounds provide acres of space for children to run around, build dens and make holiday playmates. The Play Barn is brilliant for occupying children when the weather is unkind and is the first place youngsters will dash off to when they arrive. Located away from the cottages, the Barn offers separate areas for toddlers, teens and adults. It is stocked full of toys that you can take back to your cottage, scooter around outside or have a teaparty with the dolls on the veranda. There is also a wealth of tourist information here so you can plan the days ahead, read a book or doze in the chair whilst your children play with their new friends.
Your children will relish the chance to help feed the animals in the morning: scattering corn for the chickens, looking for eggs and giving the donkeys Zack and Pepe their breakfast.
Outside is a great new play zone with something for all ages - climbing frames, rope swings, bars, toddler swing, boat swing, seesaw, playhouse and sandpit. And of course the outdoor heated swimming pool is a great place to cool off at the end of the day. There's an array of play equipment to challenge your toddlers and older children including the sandpit. Outside you can play a game of badminton, table tennis or swing ball.
Holiday Extras for Mum's and Dad's
Your time on holiday is precious and the last thing you want to do on arrival is dash straight to the shop to stock up on groceries. The owners very thoughtfully have provided a pre-arrival shopping service that allows you purchase your groceries on the internet and you will find it delivered and put food away before you arrive. There is free WIFI Internet access - in case you need to keep in touch with the outside world. The owners live on-site with a young family and have had the chance to "road test" many of the local attractions and child friendly restaurants and are a valuable resource in helping you find the most suitable places and best beaches to visit in Cornwall.
Booking recommended babysitters will give parents the opportunity to enjoy quality adult time and maybe sample the delights from local award winning restaurants in Looe just a few minutes away. A local caterer can also offer you food in your cottage for those romantic meals in when the children are safely tucked up. Guests can enjoy discounted golf passes at the local golf course within walking distance and discounts on many local attractions and restaurants.

Stayed November 2011. Absolutely fantastic. Cottage was lovely and warm, very clean and very spacious. Every you would need or want on hand for the kids and even the dog. Home from Home. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Will definately return. Our only downside was having to leave and return home.

Everything we could have wished for & more. Very warm welcome & loved the scones, jam, clotted cream, tea & coffee, just what was needed after a 7 hr drive. Cottage very, very clean, 3 spacious bedrooms, lots of hanging space & very comfy beds. Kitchen & lounge met our needs nicely. Great to have 2 bathrooms. Kids able to roam around & have complete freedom and felt very safe. Loved the swimming pool and fact that was open until late but safely enclosed at all times. Play Barn a great asset as well as outdoor play area. Bbqs & free coal used extensively, as was the washing machine & clothes lines!! Chickens, Hens & Roosters roamed freely & kids couldn't get enough of these as well as the donkeys, guinea pigs & rabbits. Totally relaxing holiday home & have recommended Wringworthy Cottages to friends & family. All types of family days outs within 20mins to 1 hrs drive & massive Morrisons just up the road too! Looe Bay town & beach fantastic. We didn't want to leave after our weeks stay and are looking to rebook for 2012.
