They seem to understand completely the trials and tribulations of eating with your youngsters. Not only do they provide a wonderful welcoming environment for families, they also have three menus for children depending on ages. Bébé Blanc, for the babies - free organic carrot puree with nothing added. Petit Blanc, for children up to 8 - a small set menu for those fussy ages where food is not the most important. Jeune Blanc for when food is becoming important, when they want to choose from the menu like mum and dad. A little JB sign denotes the half portion half price dishes on the A La Carte. They are so keen to give children a good time that they will serve adult starters as their main course, if they are as big a fan of Brasserie Blanc’s mussels as one of our daughters is!
Knowing that your little ones’ needs are catered for, parents can relax and savour the fine food. Joanne recommends the Stinking Bishop cheese soufflé with pear and walnut, followed by roast Barbary duck breast with blackberry sauce and Dauphinoise potatoes. If you fancy pudding and are sharing with a friend, the Flaming Baked Alaska is an amazing spectacle both the children and you will enjoy - though keep little hands away. All in all, Brasserie Blanc is one of the best eateries in which to enjoy a special family meal together.
