About King Arthurs Willow Treehouse at Mill Farm

When you say 'treehouse'.... this amazing treehouse really does have the 'WOW' factor (so much so, it's featured on TV). Built over three levels with panoramic views stretching over the Wiltshire countryside, King Arthurs Willow is the ultimate in glamping.

The Treehouse

A grand name for a grand accommodation. The King Arthur Willow Treehouse stands proudly in a meadow with commanding panoramic views of the tranquil Wiltshire countryside. Life’s about making memories and here is a place to do it. Set over three floors the treehouse is a luxurious treat, the children will whoop at the idea of sleeping in a house in the trees!

Accomodation

The King Arthur Willow sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms

  • Master bedroom - handcrafted double bed situated on the middle floor near the living area
  • Twin room - sleeps two situated on the top floor
  • Double room (can be split into twin) - sleeps two on the lower floor.

The outer deck is a fabulous outside space for outside dining kitted out with a bbq.  There is a covered verandah to shelter if the weather is wet.

Enter into the treehouse and there is a dining table built around a glistening tree, wood burner, and sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped inc hob, oven, fridge and a dishwasher with a work surface that many will never be able to say they’ve worked on - fossilised tree root in marble.

The Farm

All the fun at the farm on Mill farm, the Treehouse is a short stroll from all the farm has to offer. An honesty shop can be found in a converted barn, here you will find all your essentials (as much as possible,  the produce is locally sourced and organic). Simply record your purchase and pay at the end of your stay. Get to know what farming is all about on a farm tour with Farmer Joe, a hands on tour where you can feed the animals, get involved in harvesting and if you’re really lucky you may even dig for worms!

Mill Farm is a haven for wildlife - spot deers, foxes, kingfisher and kestrels and when night falls head to one of the hides and keep your eyes peeled for badgers.  The Straw Play area inspired by the young Chris and George - this is the place to get right in amongst the straw and simply play. Explore the fields on donkey back (suitable for 10 years and under) , you can help tack up and once the ride is over give Moto the Donkey a groom.  Laser Clay shooting in a safe environment is  a bit of competitive fun, it's a version of clay pigeon shooting but with no risk of getting shot! Gator rides are a favourite with the farm dwellers, take a tour of the farm and get up close to badger sets, have a masterclass and ride your own around the farm or simply use it as a taxi to the local.  Children can also take a ride on their very own mini gator- available to hire for the day. Outdoor cooking pots, bikes, pop up marquees and smoking barrels are on offer at an extra charge.

Out and About

Should families wish to explore further afield then a fabulous roll call of attractions are nearby including Longleat, Caen Hill Locks, Bowood House, Avebury and Stonehenge. The market town of Devises is just 3 miles away, offering a good selection of shops and cafes.
