Seven Hills Hideaway

Child friendly farm, Monmouthshire

About Seven Hills Hideaway

Free-range children! Come to Seven Hills Hideaway for a great, back-to-nature holiday, away from the hustle, bustle and distractions of everyday life. It’s the perfect place for your kids to explore, run free and learn all about nature. Located on a 16th century farmstead, with sheep, alpacas, chickens, mini Shetland ponies and amazing wildlife, Seven Hills Hideaway offers the entire family the chance to relax, unwind and escape.

There are magical wooded areas where your children can build dens, splash about in the stream, discover the tree swings and get closer to nature. There are lots of furry creatures and fascinating bugs for them to see; they’ll come back to your luxury lodge happy and tired out!

Safari Lodges

The tented safari lodges give you a real ‘out of Africa’ experience (without the scary animals!) Each one sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, one of which is a fabulous indoor ‘bed in a shed’… perfect for a childhood hideaway, making special memories.

Each lodge is fully equipped. The kitchens have everything you will need; there’s a log burner for cooking and to keep you all cosy; a dining area with plenty of space for family meals; and your beds will be made-up and ready for your arrival, with sumptuous mattresses, luxury duvets and crisp bedlinen. Your lounge and deck are the perfect places for precious family time, playing a game or simply relaxing together. Outside, you will find your own BBQ area, perfect for outdoor suppers and toasting marshmallows; and your own private hot tub: sit back, relax, watch the stars and listen to our owls.

Everyone says what a wonderful night’s sleep they have here… is it our fresh country air, the stillness of our rural nights, or our amazing starry skies (we’re in a Dark Sky reserve)?  Whatever is it, it works!
