The family friendly 3-star Trefeddian Hotel has so much to offer for a family holiday. Ideally located on the mid Wales coast, near the picturesque village of Aberdovey, overlooking Cardigan Bay there is four miles of golden sandy beach just a short hop from the Hotel. With indoor and outdoor swimming pools, play areas for the kids, all weather tennis, games room and snooker there is plenty to keep all ages amused. Large family rooms have space for extra beds and cots and baby listening and baby-sitting services are available together with children’s early super. Try and book a sea facing room for the spectacular views. Self-catering apartments are also available, that have limited access to the facilities of the hotel, which can sleep a family of up to 8. There are many local attractions including a narrow guage steam railway and crabbing off the village jetty - great fun for all the family.

Stood proudly on a spectacular position on the Cambrian Coast, with superb views of the beach and sea as well as overlooking Aberdovey's Championship 18 hole Links Golf Course, you have a four mile stretch of glorious sandy beaches to explore. The Trefeddian is family run with dedicated staff, who genuinely care about the hospitality you receive from knee-high and upwards. Set in it's own grounds, the hotel is the perfect retreat for all the family offering something for everyone. Facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool, putting green, tennis court, snooker room, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor play areas. The Hotel has a lift to all floors and may be suitable to people with certain disabilities. Half board accommodation is provided - allowing you to sample the fine cuisine the Trefeddian is renowned for. With the opportunity to feed the children at an earlier time slot (5.15-5.45pm) the option is there to take advantage of the baby listening service and enjoy some grown up time.
Hotel Rooms for Families
There is a selection of larger rooms that are suitable for family occupancy. These rooms comprise of a double bed and a single bed, some have one or two sofas that can be made up as beds, or an extra bed can be placed in the room allowing the room to sleep up to 2 adults with 3 children. Any of the family rooms can have a cot in the room for younger children. All rooms are en suite with WC, bath and or shower. All bedrooms are non-smoking and have level access - some are suitable for persons with limited mobility. You will have direct dial telephone, remote control colour television, radio, hospitality tray and baby listening service. Hotel Bedrooms are all en suite, some with spectacular sea views and balconies. The fourth floors rooms offer palatial accomodation with superb views to the coast or over the mountains. These rooms are often preferred by families as they are more spacious and include a seating area.

Self Catering By the Coast Mid Wales
The Trefeddian can also offer self-catering units that can accommodate families of up to a maximum of 8. All have sea views but are unsuitable for persons with walking difficulties. Choose from three self-catering properties in Aberdovey are individually furnished and equipped to meet the highest standard. Each self-catering property has a fully-fitted kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and gas or electric cooker as well as full central heating (included in the rental price) and a direct dial telephone. House 1 & 5 are also kitted out with a washing machine.Linen and towels are provided at no extra cost. Self-catering guests may use the hotel facilities (tennis court, putting green, snooker room and games room). Guests may also use the swimming pool, though there are time restrictions. Self catering guests are welcome to have meals in the hotel dining room subject to how busy the hotel is.
Number 5, Trefeddian (Sleeps a family of 6)
This is nicely-decorated Edwardian terraced house has full central heating and private off road parking. Ideal for a family, it's just a 3 minute stroll from your front door to the beach! Dogs are allowed in the house but only on the ground floor. The bathroom is situated on the half landing between the first and second floors; it features a bath and hand-held shower. This house is let on a weekly basis from Sunday - Sunday.
Number 1, Trefeddian (Sleeps a family of 8)
This is nicely-decorated end-of-terrace house has full central heating and private off road parking. Ideal for a large family, it's just a 3 minute stroll from your front door to the beach! Dogs are allowed in the house but only on the ground floor. There are two bathrooms, both situated on the half landing between the first and second floors, both have baths. This house is let on a weekly basis from Saturday - Saturday.
The Hotel and Facilities
The Trefeddian Hotel has four beautifully-presented lounges so there's plenty of space for you to relax and put your feet up after a busy day exploring! Lunchtime sandwiches, afternoon tea and bar snacks can be enjoyed in any of the lounges. Rain or shine, there's plenty to enjoy at the Trefeddian Hotel.
With sweeping sea views, attentive service, and fine food cooked to perfection by the talented head chef, the dining room at the Trefeddian Hotel is a delight for all the senses! The hotel's superb breakfast, lunch and 5 course table d'hôte menus are teeming with great local ingredients. Dress Code - Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and or tie in the dining room during the evening. Children can enjoy supper from the dedicated children's menu between 5.15 to 5.45pm, please place your order by 5.00pm. Dinner can be enjoyed either in the dining room or in your bedroom if you prefer.The hotel offers a child listening service which will allow you and your older children to dine at the normal dinner service time.
