Formerly a banking hall Quod has been transformed to become Oxford's largest and most successful restaurant. Stylish, contemporary design describes the space which houses an amazing collection of young British Art. The children will love the stimulating large space and terrace to the rear. Open all day for breakfast, our famously good value 2 course set lunch, afternoon tea and dinner this stylish, busy, bustling brasserie serves simply designed, unpretencious robust food. Think wonderful pizza, pasta, free-range chicken, fish and shellfish from Jersey, local lamb, beef and pork from the owner's Oxfordshire farm. All reasonably priced.
The Greyhound Inn is a fabulous award winning family food pub. Great emphasis is placed on sourcing and cooking with fresh seasonal ingredients. We are passionate about food and our numerous Food, Ale and Cider festivals are tribute to this. We cater for large parties/ group bookings. The only venue to offer take away food in Corfe Castle, you cannot pass us by without sampling our fish and chips. The Greyhound, Corfe Castle, is nestled in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck on the Jurassic Coastal path. The pub is easily reached via the Swanage Steam Railway or Sandbanks Car ferry from Poole. The pub is an ideal location for families, ramblers, cyclists and bird watchers out and about in Jurassic Country, as we are surrounded by numerous cycle paths, mountain biking tracks, rambling routes and a large diversity of wildlife.
Waterside Bistro really does benefit from its fantastic location next to the old Totnes Bridge beside the River Dart. Alongside a great outside terrace, there is the Bistro serving breakfasts, cakes, coffees and lunches. From 6pm everyday, we offer a superb dinner menu. An excellant range of wines and beers. A family friendly café in a stunning location overlooking Lake Windermere at Brockhole Visitor Centre. Plenty of choice for a light lunch or a cup of tea with a tasty treat. Kids menu available from 11.30am until 2.30pm. If the weather is fine enjoy eating alfresco on the terrace, taking full advantage of the stunning lakeside scenery.
