There is a wide-ranging menu with something to please everyone. Children can choose many of their favourites from the children's menu, whilst the adults have many mouth-watering choices.
Fish-lovers can enjoy pan-fried Scallops or Cointreau-laced mussels to start followed by sea bass, whereas carnivores may prefer the homemade steak and kidney pudding or the lamb rump. A range of vegetarian dishes are available, such as stilton and vegetable crumble, cashew nut paella and mushroom, cranberry and brie wellington, and there are also some Indian dishes for spice-lovers.
Bampton is a pretty village in north Devon, mentioned in the Domesday Book and with the motte of a Norman castle and a 14th century church. It lies just on the edge of the Exmoor National Park, 6 miles from Tiverton 20 minutes from the M5. Why not take a run out there and stop off for Sunday lunch or supper at Blackberries?
