About Felin Geri Safari Tents
The en-suite bathroom facilities make for a luxurious child friendly glamping experience
Escape to the hidden charms of Felin Geri, an idyllic rural hideaway for glamping fans, just 15 minutes from the heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay. Set in a secluded wooded valley within the grounds of a former flour mill, you will discover three luxurious safari tents. Each can happily sleep a family of 6 in comfort, on a raised wooden platform with added luxuries, including en-suite showers, wood burning stoves and comfy beds. The kids will revel in the adventure of it all, plus there is a treehouse and play fort close to the handy on-site cafe bar. The Mill Café serves breakfast, light lunches and a range of refreshing drinks. A glamping holiday at Felin Geri allows you to park your car, switch off and truly unwind. The perfect destination for a relaxing break with family or friends and the family dog is also welcome too.
Owners Alan and Jane upped sticks from their life in Plymouth to set about a new life in West Wales with ambitious plans to restore the 16th century flour mill and gradually expand the glamping accommodation so that more families and friends can get-together and enjoy this unique hidden gem. Felin Geri is set over 24 acres of woodland, rich with wildlife and large clear skies. At dusk the place becomes almost magical where you can sit out on your private decking, wrapped in blankets and gaze at the sublime beauty of the night sky.
The Safari Tents – Luxurious Camping
These 6 berth tents are like canvas cottages so that you can enjoy a camping experience like no other. Everything is provided so that you can indeed enjoy that well-deserved break away from it all. Three safari tents are dotted around the site, each on their own private plot, erected on a solid wooden platform raised off the ground with a covered veranda, outdoor furniture and amazing views of the woodland valley. Inside the spacious tents have a separate king size double bedroom, twin bedded room and a quirky cabin bed which the kids are bound to have first dibs on. Quality linen, duvets and towels are all provided. Towards the rear of the tent there is a shower room and flushing loo, so there are no joyous night time trips to the toilet block to contend with. Travel cots and highchairs available on request at no extra charge. There's an open plan area with a kitchen and log-fuelled stove (which provides both heating and cooking), proper dining table and chairs for family meals together a sumptuous Chesterfield sofa and huge bean bags. It's all rather lush and comfortable. A small gas hob allows for a kettle to be boiled when the stove isn't lit. Each tent has a cool box and freezer blocks to keep daily supplies cold.
