Two sizes are available, sleeping a family of 4 or a larger family of 6 at the wonderful, child friendly Ribby Hall Village. With a NEW £1.6m Leisure Pool, children’s indoor and outdoor play areas, fishing, golf, tennis, badminton, squash, gym classes, spa facilities, and some fantastic restaurants, it is not hard to see why Ribby Hall is a firm favourite with families.

Once inside, the interiors are spacious and luxurious with beautifully designed soft furnishings, sofas and kitchens that complement the whole effect.

Guests have access to the many leisure facilities available. One look at the new Leisure Pool, your children will be keen to jump in! There is also an adult's only 25m swimming pool with a jacuzzi and sauna. The indoor soft play area is a big hit with the little ones and it's great for Mums and Dads too, as you can take advantage of the adjoining Starbucks while they play. There is a full program of gym classes should you wish to partake in a bit of exercise. The list seems endless - a nine hole par 3 golf course, racquet sports, bowling green, climbing wall, fishing, cycling, Spa facilities and Wild Discovery; our very own educational animal experience!

Should you choose to have a night off from cooking, there are plenty of restaurants to hand! The Bar and Grill is a popular choice with its Kids Eat FREE offer so booking is advisable. Savour vibrant Mediterranean-style dishes and enjoy the Spanish culinary custom of Tapas in the family-friendly Tapas Bar & Restaurant.

The family entertainment really is a natural progression after dining and is great family fun with shows, disco and party games!

AwtK Review:

The cottages at Ribby Hall are newly refurbished, clean with all the amenities a family could want whilst on holiday. Modern kitchens and an open plan lounge, with large bedrooms and two bathrooms - there was more than enough room for everyone. The cottages are set in little cul-de-sacs giving a homely feel and none are more than a few minutes walk to the restaurants, pool and leisure activities.

One thing I noticed about Ribby Hall Village was how clean and tidy it was. The gardens were neatly manicured and the lodgings clean, modern and spacious.

I was worried that my teenage sons would be looking for wi-fi (which there is and it's free!) and glued to their phones, but after settling in, they spent the week-end in the large pool with flutes and slides (whilst I went onto the Adult Only area to enjoy the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and large, quiet pool). They didn't get time to try all the activities (of which there's many!), but did do Water-walking, Segway, Boating and the climbing wall. There was also archery, crazy golf, laser tag, fencing and Body Zorbing to name a few for their age group. There were plenty of activities for little ones, from workshops aplenty in science, art, balloons, gardening, sports and even a Princess Workshop which I imagine would keep them entertained all week.

We enjoyed a take-away from Papa Johns Pizzeriera, which was both affordable and delicious and ate at the Tapas Bar on the second evening. There was evening entertainment each night in the Bar & Grill, but after a flutter in the Games Room, they were ready for a chill out and a good nights sleep!

Whilst my husband intended to play a round of golf and I pay a visit to the beautiful looking spa at the other end of Ribby Hall, there quite simply wasn't time. The week-end was as busy as we made it, the children enjoyed themselves thoroughly and there's plenty left to do to warrant another visit!
