There’s a great range of accommodation on offer at Dittisham Hideaway. A sleek American Airstream is tucked into a secluded corner of the site with far-reaching views of Dartmoor’s rolling hills. The sensitively restored iconic caravan sleeps two adults and boasts a generous bathroom, underfloor heating and a relaxed lounge area. There are five contemporary Shepherds Huts positioned in the wild flower meadow with lovely views down the wooded valley. Four of the five huts sleep two adults in a king size double. The final hut accommodates families of up to six, with a king size double bed in the main hut, and space for four children in an adjoining children’s hut. All of the huts are furnished with designer fabrics, made-to-measure furnishings, a traditional wood-burning stove, a foldaway breakfast bar and a generous bathroom with double walk-in power shower.
The four treehouses are the real gems of the collection, each sleeping up to two adults and three children. The interiors are attractively furnished with a nod to their environment, with a variety of rich wood finishes, soothing fabrics, sumptuous Egyptian cotton bed linen and home comfort essentials including underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen and two en-suite bathrooms with power showers. The kids sleep in a triple bunk bed, whilst parents are accommodated in a double in the open plan living space. A stay at Dittisham Hideaway is akin to staying in your own private mini-resort, with its own deck with a hammock, outdoor chess set, outdoor table football, sun loungers, barbecue complete with dining area, and a traditional wood-fired cedar hot tub or indulgent Japanese wood-fired spa bath.
