Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Visit the wonderful local markets - during the summer months try and get to one of the amazing night markets.

  • Lectoure, a Roman hilltop garrison town is a must-see with several fascinating museums, galleries and buildings.

  • Beach lovers will want to take a trip to the Atlantic Coast with the old glamorous seaside towns of Biarritz and St. Jean de Luz and the amazing sand dunes and beaches south of Bordeaux.

  • The lively cities of Toulouse and Carcassonne - Europe’s most famous fortified city - are within driving distance.

  • Head out on the river and hire motorboats in nearby Condom.

  • Needless to say, there are lots of vineyards in the area for wine-tasting.
