Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • We love the golden beaches at Scarborough and Filey – great for all ages and a good spot to tuck into tasty fish and chips.

  • Thrillseekers should head to Flamingo Land theme park where you'll find fun rides and a zoo.

  • North Yorkshire Moors Railway is one of the country’s most spectacular heritage railways and well worth a visit.

  • Alpamare Water Park, based in Scarborough has exciting water chutes, infinity pool and more.

  • Peasholm Park is great for a day out – again in Scarborough, it’s a free to enter attraction with boating lake, putting greens, café and Rare Tree Trail.
