The detached and light filled cottage accommodation includes a sitting room with sofas, chair, flat screen TV with Freeview, CD/DVD player, a small library and board games for children and adults. The walls are decorated with a selection of local and Welsh artists' work. Free WiFi broadband is available. and a log burning stove. A bespoke window seat offers a cosy corner from which to contemplate the rolling hills and big Welsh sky. A separate utility area is equipped with a microwave and washing machine. There are two first floor bedrooms - a double with a vaulted ceiling and a twin room - and a ground floor luxury walk-in shower room. Each bed has a traditional hand woven Welsh blanket from a local woollen mill.
Cefn Mawr Barn
Cefn Mawr is a stunning 'upside down' conversion of a former barn and hayloft in the beautiful Ceiriog Valley. This spacious, light and airy property has a contemporary finish, whilst retaining some lovely original features. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, a double with en suite shower room, a second double and a twin room. A family shower room is also situated on the ground floor. Upstairs, the barn is one large, open-plan living area, taking advantage of the wonderful views down the Ceiriog Valley. The living room has a wood burning stove, radio, Freeview TV, DVD/CD player and free WiFi is available. There are three sofas, to seat up to 8 people, one of which is a daybed which converts to a double bed for occasional/alternative sleeping arrangements.
