Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Doctor Who fans will love a day out in Cardiff visiting some of the locations used in filming.

  • Techniquest is a great rainy day option with interactive exhibitions bringing science to life.

  • Visit one of the amazing Welsh castles- try the cliff top fortress at Chepstow or experience Gilbert’s Maze at Caerphilly.

  • Go underground and take a virtual ride at The Welsh Mining Experience, then treat yourself to afternoon tea in the cafe.
