The estate boasts ten acres of grounds to explore, from vineyards and landscaped gardens to woodland, either on foot or by bike (which can be rented here). The large infinity pool (heated between April and October) is undoubtedly a highlight, and guests can enjoy poolside service in the summer months. If you’re keen to be active, you can make use of the tennis and volleyball courts (all equipment is handily provided) or play a traditional game of boules.
If you’re after something a little more sedate, head to the beautiful conservatory that houses a library, with plenty of seats to sit out in the sun and relax.
For even more relaxation Le Mazet, once a shelter for winegrowers and their tools, has been repurposed into a unique calm space to totally unwind. Taking inspiration from the natural surroundings, you can enjoy a truly relaxing massage or facial from the spa partner Cinq Mondes.
Throughout the school holidays (Easter to October) you will find a brilliant kids club (for children aged 4-12) led by highly qualified and experienced staff (who are bilingual!). Overflowing with creative, crafty activities that focus on nature and being outdoors it is a great way for children to make friends, and there’s a special kids’ dinner between 6 and 7pm every day too.
Daily cleaning is available at an extra charge. Babysitting may be booked in advance.
