Tips from the owners

Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • There’s so much to do in the grounds, including the Cliveden Maze, built in 1894, and the all-natural woodland play trail.

  • Enjoy the theme-park rides and impressive creations at LEGOLAND Windsor, which is just 11 miles away.

  • Younger kids especially will love meeting all the animals at Odds Farm Park, only a six-minute drive away.

  • Also nearby is Bekonscot Model Village and Railway, where you can all pretend to be giants for the day.

  • If you’ve got kids aged six to 12, they’re bound to love the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre, which brings the eponymous author’s stories to life.
