There are countless reasons why I love Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park, but top of the list is the breathtaking scenery and peaceful lakes. The luscious surroundings are a constant reminder to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature. It's a place to escape to, and we welcome families seeking the same.

Owner recommendations

  • Kids and adults alike will love visiting Longleat Safari Park, just a 20-minute drive from Fairwood Lakes. Spot zebra, monkeys, giraffes. They’ve got it all.

  • For a day of culture and city bustle, head to Bristol where you’ll find galleries, family attractions and excellent cafes and restaurants.

  • The quaint and quirky town of Frome is sure to capture your heart. From historical landmarks to charming shops and delicious food, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

  • Check out the Westbury White Horse. It’s a great spot for a picnic and kite flying. There is loads of space for playing and running around, as well as fantastic views over the Wiltshire countryside.

  • Explore the canals and waterways of Bradford-upon-Avon by kayak and canoe. A family of four can easily fit in the brilliant Canadian canoes. Advanced booking is recommended during school holidays.
