Local things to do, places to eat and attractions not to be missed.

  • Dinefwr Riding Centre have a range of horses and ponies to suit all abilities and levels.

  • If you prefer travelling on wheels then take your bikes, or hire them, and explore the Brechfa area.

  • Visit the British Birds of Prey centre at the National Botanical Gardens, that lie within and around the walled manor at Middleton Hall.

  • Visit the battlement of Dryslwyn Castle, the National Nature Reserve and Castle at Dinefwr Park, and the enchanting Carreg Cennen.

  • The jewel in the crown of the area is Aebrglasney Gardens in Llangathen.
